Find peace of mind, and focus on living your life, with metacognitive therapy.

What is Metacognitive Therapy (MCT)?

Metacognitive Therapy helps you create distance from overthinking and worries. Instead of analyzing the content of your thoughts, you learn to change your relationship with them. This allows you to regain mental calm, focus, and freedom.

How does MCT work?

MCT is based on the metacognitive model developed by Professor Adrian Wells. The therapy targets what he calls the Cognitive Attentional Syndrome (CAS) – a pattern of worry, rumination, threat monitoring, and checking behaviors that maintain psychological distress.
“Thoughts don’t matter, but your response to them does.” – Adrian Wells

Who can benefit from MCT?

MCT is an evidence-based method with proven effectiveness in treating stress, anxiety, depression, PTSD, and OCD. It focuses on deactivating CAS and changing the metacognitive beliefs that sustain unhelpful thought processes.

A new perspective on mental challenges
